I like the fields and how close the wind thingys are to the road. (Our are out in the wood or up far away on the mountains.)  The light is simply amazing in this photo! :D

Really interesting shot!

I think what is most appealing here is how thunderous the clouds look and how dark and stormy.. but then you've got this brief strip of fire blazing across the very bottom there, as if it's not the end of things.

The structures are quite cool too. I don't think we fully appreciate the size of them here, though. :O

It was impeccable timing.  It had been storming the past few days, but it decided to abruptly end in time for sunset :)

Indeed.  The road does give the viewer some sense, but not nearly enough.  Maybe a car or some sort of structure would add to the perspective.
