Thanks :)  Glad you like it!

I just happened to pass through at the right time (after the storm).

I like the fields and how close the wind thingys are to the road. (Our are out in the wood or up far away on the mountains.)  The light is simply amazing in this photo! :D

Thank you for your comments.  You mentioned the lighting, and I completely agree.  This is one of my better photos, from a technical standpoint.  I still have a lot to learn :)

Really interesting shot!

I think what is most appealing here is how thunderous the clouds look and how dark and stormy.. but then you've got this brief strip of fire blazing across the very bottom there, as if it's not the end of things.

The structures are quite cool too. I don't think we fully appreciate the size of them here, though. :O

It was impeccable timing.  It had been storming the past few days, but it decided to abruptly end in time for sunset :)

Indeed.  The road does give the viewer some sense, but not nearly enough.  Maybe a car or some sort of structure would add to the perspective.

Oh cool.  It's hard to gauge their size in your photos, but they look large when using the tree line (on the most distant ridge) for perspective!

I you ever make it to the California Delta, you can get some great shots of windmills :)
